Mukhtar claims no power outages in Ramazan
KARACHI - Water and Power Minister Ahmad Mukhtar said on Tuesday that there would be no load shedding of electricity across the country during the holy month of Ramazan.
Speaking to journalists at Karachi airport, the minister claimed, “6,000 mega watt electricity has been added in the system, since I have assumed the charge of my office and now the total power generation has reached up to 14,000 megawatt.”
He said the government was doing its best to reduce the power outages in the country and in this regard somehow we remained successful.
To a question, the minister said the decision on Rental Power Houses would be made in accordance to the final judgment of the court.
Talking about Karachi Electricity Supply Company (KESC), he said that KESC was part of the country adding, “We will find solution and look into the matter of the masses of Karachi regarding over-billing, fast meters and addition of extra units in electricity bills.”
He said the government would recover payable dues of electricity bills from all thieves whether it would be small or big electricity stealer.

If u really believe that there will be no loadshedding..remember last year..same promise and what happened? Do u really believe that suddenly miraculously there will be enough oil, gas, etc to produce the 7000-9000 MW which are short of the demand? Have they been hiding it or storing it in their back yards or the government building ?? Get real..You will be sitting in hot room..cuz power will be cut while they sit with fans and running AC cuz where they live..power of course will be on.. DON’T put trust into politicians..no matter what they say..to 99.99% its BS.. cuz all they try do is get u to vote for them..specially now where all the old parties are losing to the young change which is coming..

Do u really believe that suddenly miraculously there will be enough oil, gas, etc to produce the 7000-9000 MW which are short of the demand?
