Girl kills father for rejecting her boyfriend

FAISALABAD - A 15-year-old girl gunned down her father after he objected to her having a boyfriend in Faisalabad, police and witnesses said on Monday. Police said the incident took place in Faisalabad’s Bilal Town where the girl took out a pistol and opened fire on her father after having a fight with him. They said the girl wanted to marry a boy but her father did not approve of him. The man died on the spot. His body was taken to hospital for autopsy, a police officer said. The police said the boy had given his girlfriend the pistol. Both the boy and girl, whose names were yet be known, have been arrested.
