Sindh vaccinators’ strike continues on 2nd day

KARACHI - The strike of Sindh vaccinators continued for second consecutive day on Tuesday.
The strike has endangered upcoming polio campaign, scheduled to start on July 16 in the province.
More than 700 vaccinators of Sindh including Karachi have formed a strike camp in the metropolitan for their demands.
The protesters have said that 700 vaccinators’ summary of giving permanent status is on table of Sindh chief secretary but he is not approving.
The vaccinators on strike have threatened that if notification of permanent status is not issued soon then they will boycott anti-polio campaign scheduled to start on July 16 across the province.
