5 including ANP activist gunned down in Karachi
KARACHI - Five persons have been shot dead in fresh firing and torture incidents here on Monday morning.
According to Media Reports, Police told that unidentified armed motorcycle riders opened fire on a coaster booked for picnic near old Golimar in Pak Colony resulting in the death of two persons and another two wounded.
In another incident, some armed persons targeted a vehicle and opened fire killing a person named Ghulam Rabbani. Police have termed this incident of personal enmity.
Two youths’ bodies were also recovered near the river in Shah Faisal Colony No. 5. Police said that both the youths were kidnapped and shot dead.
Police also shifted the dead body of ANP activist Naseeb Khan to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital
Following the firing incidents, the businesses were closed, as fears and tensions ran high in the affected areas.
