Petrol pump shut down for overcharging, artificial shortage

LAHORE - City District Government Lahore (CDGL) on Tuesday shut down a petrol pump near Doctor’s Hospital in Johar Town following complaints about overcharging and creation of an artificial shortage of petrol.
Special teams of the CDGL conducted raids in various areas of the city and inspected the supply of petroleum products. DCO Noor-ul-Amin Mengal said that all necessary steps would be taken against those petrol pumps which were creating an artificial shortage and were over-charging for petrol and diesel.
