10 Responses to Army to the rescue

  1. Naeem says:

Sharif brothers want army to come in and remove Zardari so they can jointly rule similar to General Zia/General Gillani time of 1980s

  2. Cobrajock says:

This cartoon is in extremely bad taste. I wonder why personal idiosyncracies override issues that are being highlighted. Intellectual dishonesty ?????

  3. Dr.umair says:

Dear naeem what did the present government delivered to the people of pakistan except loadsheding up to 23 hours a day.unemployment .hopelessness ,corruption .people want meal not senate elections .pepole are demanding electricity not zardari democracy..come on adopt rational thinking if you have rational mind .but your statement reveals that your are not mush educated person .

  4. Desi says:

First of all I would like to thank the Pakistan Armed forces for their hard work and sacrifice, specially the army.@Naeem,you can keep Zardari and his 40 choor, just give the people pf Pakistan electricity, water, jobs and education.@Sabir Nazar is the name of the artist I think, you sir are a sorry excuse for a man,all you do is make fun of people who protect sorry people like yourself.

  5. shoaib says:

what a stupid apprehension of a sensitive matter , ok let me know why Govt ask Army to come and rescue in times of Flood and Earthquack times ? why this time we are taking it army coming to help like this ?
Why dont we all use some God Gifted Brains ?

  6. yours truly says:

Twice in one year have we seen the doctor's strikes erupt under the able leadership of Shahbaz Sharif. This just goes on to show how inefficient and out of its depth the Punjab govt. is. But that is something we knew already. Why curse the poor cartoonist when he's just shown you the mirror – and in a manner that recreates one of the first iconic images of Musharraf's coup which overthrew the 'cry baby' elder Sharif's government.
I think it's a superb cartoon by Sabir Nazar, no wonder it has hit the right people where it hurts the most.
Lick your wounds johnnies, the army was no solution to ghost schools and tampered electricity meters in the 1990s and by now it's clear the army doctors are no panacea for the strike.
Remember another thing, the Sharifites. The next time the army intervenes, it would not send Zardari packing alone. You should've learned that from Imran's meteoric rise after a decade and a half in wilderness.

  7. mukhtar says:

It is good that army has come to hel people of Pakistan in Province of Punjab due to doctors strike. But what has surprisd me how a Chief Minister can call army doctors requesting dircetly to army chief. Infact request should have been sent to Ministry of Defense and they should have vetted the request and despatched the doctors accordingly. Mr Naveed Qamar had to decide.I have read no such news where any request was made to Min of Defense. This must be clarified as this will set bad precedence for other provinces.I ope normal channel of command has been used

  8. pannu says:

Shame on you PT … over the period of time i believe that Pakistan Army does an good will always be shot down by you…. i hope you are not part of the US Dollar Media.

  9. female model says:

yeah bongy sharifs jab bhi aaty hain yeahi huta
country ya province chalana sharif brothers ke buss ka kaam nahi

  10. FaujiCivilian says:

A very pertinent and justified slap on the face of PMLN, couldn't be put better. Naeem, people cant face the truth sometimes. Though I'm not very fond of any politicians but I must say that PMLN supporters are always sore losers and worst of the lot. Just like the party itself.

Well done Sabir Nazar Sahab !

    Muhammad Abu Bakar
