LAHORE - PML-N President Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said the country was facing acute economic crises due to mass corruption and wrong policies of the PPP government. Talking to former federal minister of the PML-Q, Ali Nawaz Mehr at his residence on Saturday, Nawaz criticised the PPP and its partners, saying they responsible for the current deteriorating situation in the country. He claimed the PML-N had an experienced team of experts and professionals that could help Pakistan get out of the difficulties.
He said he could not forget the love and affectionate welcome accorded to him during visit to Sindh. Both sides exchanged views on the overall political scenario in the country. During the meeting, the overall political situation in the country came under review. Sources said Mehr supported the policies of Nawaz. They said he was also likely to join the PML-N very soon. Senior PML-N leader Imdad Chandio and others were also present.
