Hand grenade attacks leave one dead, 15 injured

KARACHI - At least one woman was killed while 15 persons were injured in separate incidents of hand grenade attacks in Lyari and Dalmia areas of the city on Wednesday. Tension prevailed in Dalmia after the attack. The incident occurred near Usmani mosque, street number 12. Police reached the scene soon after the incident. Two policemen were reported to be injured in the exchange of fire. One such type of incident also occurred in Layari’s Aagra Taj Colony in which four people received injuries. Police and Rangers’ heavy contingent arrived in the affected areas after the attacks.
