KARACHI - It has been disclosed that deliberations are being held for transfer of the province’s Home Ministry to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). The names of Raza Haroon and Syed Sardar Ahmed have surfaced for the Sindh home minister’s portfolio, sources said on Tuesday. Earlier, Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan was removed from his office for “reasons other than political”. He refused, however, to accept another portfolio in the provincial cabinet.

It will be a grave mistake by Asif Zardari to hand over ministry to someone who belongs to an ethnic party which is widely believed to be behind what is happening in Karachi. Must Asif Zardari capitulate before arch terrorist Altaf all the time. Don’t forget that the home minister has access to sensitive intelligence reports and surely MQM minister will waste no time to tip the terrorists off.
This observer from UK is Aman committee activist which is behind all the carnage in Karachi. Ask this man from where Aman Committee got all the weapons. Can this observer deny this?
This is indeed good development that Interior ministry is going to MQM which is the only organized party in Sindh province which can undertake development work. Otherwise u see u cannot visit thanas.
Great development which will be in favor of sindh & karachi . few years ago , when MQM was holding the home ministry in Musharraf regimen , the karachi was a city of peace & harmony . MQM has the capability & deserve this position . now insha ALLAH , MQM home minister will restore peace in karachi . guaranteed. Thumps up.
MQM is the only one who can control Karachi well simply because they have talented people i.e. Mustafa Kamal but other parties are useless and do not have talent in them.
The other reason "why MQM is the only party who can control Karachi well" is because then have support and vote bank in Karachi which force them to keep Karachi alive, peaceful and running to keep their voter happy.
WE NEED ONLY MOHAJIR PROVINCE
i hope that whoever get home ministry will bring peace in the city
