Zardari has no affection for Pakistani people: Shahbaz
LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that President Asif Zardari has no affection with the people of Pakistan and Punjab.
Talking to journalists after attending Open Court in Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif said that power energy crises had taken its toll on public and Punjab was suffering the most from the crises and no remedial measures were being taken.
He said the promise of uniform load shedding by former prime minister had not been fulfilled and we don’t expect any measures from the new PM.
Punjab CM said that due to flawed policies of federal government, people were compelled to protest.
Shahbaz Sharif heard people’s complaints in open court for one hour. Most complaints were against the police departments on which he directed the IG to take action.

Quite the opposite. He and his leader-brother are responsible for present energy crisis. Benazir was a visionary. She worked day & night increasing energy resources. These brothers scandalised the whole policy. When they came to power with a manipulated two-thirds majority, they declared Pakistan did not need so much electricity and unnecessary projects were set-up for corruption. Also, electricity rates were fixed at much prices than international market. Both were blatant lies. Pakistan needed all those energy projects and many more. No cheap energy projects were set up by these brothers. Time proved it and today we are facing acute shortages. If this is not true, why does not Nawaz Sharif ask Dual PCO friend Iftikhar to take suo moto notice through Rana Sanaullah (his first cousin and interlocutor between the two) for setting up a Commission to probe into energy resource mobilisation since 1947?

You and all your family ran away to Jedda after signing an agreement with Musharaf and left your country crushing under him, and even you left ur country without telling Javed Hashmi and Tehmina Daultan who were bearing Musharaf repression for you, and you you did not even tell your workers and these very sincere workeres who were looking at your footage in disbelief departing Pakistan with smiles on your faces.
