Target killing claims five lives in Karachi
KARACHI - At least five people, including one MQM’s activist waskilled in separate incidents of violence here on Saturday, police said.
According to sources, police recovered two-tortured body near Town Qasba colony and Liaqatabad Fly over respectively while Asif alias Budha (35) worker of MQM was shot dead in Gulistan Johar area.
The Police said that unknown persons threw the tortured body of 30-year-old youth near Shahzad cinema in Town Qasba colony and managed to escape while the dead body was shifted to civil hospital Karachi.
On the other hand police recovered bag-sacked body of 30-year-old youth on Liaqatabad Flyover, police claimed that unknown person strangulated youth to death while the identity of the youth is yet to assertion.
Meanwhile, a taxi driver was shot dead when unknown motorcyclist opened fire on him in Sector 32-A of Zia colony while Asif Masood was shot dead by the unknown armed persons in Maskan Chore of Gulshan Iqbal.
