Pakistan ranks 13th on failed states index

Pakistan, has been ranked 13th in the latest ranking of failed states. The unique ranking compiled by the prestigious Foreign Policy magazine is topped by African countries Somalia, Congo, Sudan, Chad and Zimbabwe. With 106 points, Afghanistan is ranked 6th, followed by Haiti, Yemen, Iraq and Central African Republic. Pakistan had 101.6 points, the magazine said, falling in at 13th place, a slight improvement from the previous two years. In 2011, it was ranked 12th in the list, while in 2010 and 2009 it was ranked 10th. “The absence of the state makes for 20-hour daily electricity blackouts and an almost nonexistent education system in many areas,” the report said.

Army is striving hard for Pakistan to get on top.
During last few days of India-Pakistan dialogue for resolving problems, Army continued with its hard work of violating ceasefire and conveying a different strategic view.
