US should pardon on Salalah Attack: Foreign Secretary

ISLAMABAD - Foreign Secretary, Jaleel Abbas Jilani has said the government of Pakistan will not accept any other excuse from US side ,except pardon on Salalah attack.
Forces of the US attacked on Salala Checkpost in November last year.
Talking to media men after the session of standing committee on foreign affairs, he claimed the members of the US Congress have started accepting the stance of Pakistan.
He said the government of Pakistan would neither change its stance nor it would accept any argument from the US, adding that a solid and comprehensive strategy should be made to avoid an unpleasant similar to the bombing on Salala Checkpost.
He said Pakistan, Nato and the US were proceeding in a positive direction regarding the talks on restoration of Nato supply routes.
Replying to a question, Jaleel Abbas Jilani was of the view that the issue of killings as a result of drone attacks has been taken up in talks with the US at every level.
Foreign Office is working with the US and Nato in accordance with the recommendations and directions forwarded by the Parliament, he observed.
He also expressed the opinion that the standing committee has appreciated the ongoing negotiations among Pakistan, the US and Nato, with regard to Nato supply lines and other important matters.
The standing committee has approved of the manner and method adopted by Pakistan in the talks, he noted.
Foreign secretary informed that the committee had showed satisfaction over the relations of Pakistan with other countries of the region including Afghanistan, China, India, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Iran.
