Postings delayed
I would like to draw the attention of higher authorities through daily Pakistan Today, regarding the posting letters of newly selected lecturers by PPSC.
The exam for the post of lecturers in the Higher Education Department, Punjab were held under Punjab Public Service Commission in September 2011. PPSC announced the recommended candidates at the start of February 2012. After more then two months, HED, Punjab sent offer letters to the lecturers. After submission of acceptance letters, the newly selected lecturers are still waiting for their posting orders which have not yet been issued. The offers letters were issued by the HED, Punjab while the posting letters are going to be issued by DPI (colleges).
When someone tries to call the DPI office, their attitude and behaviour is so embarrassing that he/she never tries to call them again. They have tried to assure us that we have committed a sin by being selected as lecturers. Some posting orders have been issued by DPI but one can see the competency of DPI that they appointed two candidates at one post. There is lack of synchronisation between DPI and HED and it also shows the level of competency and eligibility of government officers and offices.
How can we change the fate of our nation with such an attitude and behaviour is beyond me. In these days, everyone is facing financial problems and the financial problems of those who were supposed to join the HED Punjab as lecturers have aggravated as their postings have been delayed. But it seems the DPI and HED are trying to create more problems for the newly selected lecturers rather than accommodating them.
We request the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr Shahbaz Sharif, to take the necessary action regarding the unnecessary delay of the issuance of posting letters.

We are victims of DPI and HED.
They are harrasing us and tries to delay intentionally.
Its a neglegence and non professional attitude of DPI as well as HED.There is a need of strict action against these authorities.
Delay in appointment is due to corruption and safarash sydrome in hed secrertariat and dpi
no one in pakistan considers him accountable
dpi behaviour is ver insulting
they pick up phone and dont answer
or they dont pick it
or misbehave and disinform the people
cm shehbaz shareef sahib should take notice of this tana shahi of dpi lhr and hed secretariat
