Two dead in Kandhkot restaurant gunfire attack

KANDHKOT - At least two people were killed and another man was injured when some unidentified miscreants opened indiscriminate firing on a restaurant near the bypass early Friday morning.
The gunmen riding motorcycles ambushed a restaurant located near Kandhkot Bypass, killing Akbar Sabzoi and Jamal Sabsoi on the spot and injuring another.
The incident triggered stampede at the café.
SHO E-Section Gul Muhammed Mehr, arriving on the scene, transported the bodies and injured to Civil Hospital. The bodies were handed to the bereaved families after post mortem.
According to police sources, the attack was a ramification of old enmity.
Later on, members of the bereaved, placing the bodies on Bypass Road, protested against the incident and blocked the road by setting tires on fire. However, on assurances by the SHO Kandhkot, the demonstrators put an end to their protest.
