UK Foreign Secretary arrives Islamabad

ISLAMABAD - The UK Foreign Secretary William Hague arrived here earlier Tuesday.
The visit follows the visit made by Foreign Minister Khar to London in March and Prime Minister Gilani in May and underlines the UK’s commitment to a deep, long-term and strategic relationship between the UK and Pakistan based on mutual trust, respect and benefit, according to spokesperson British High Commission.
During the visit, the Foreign Secretary will be discussing the strength of UK-Pakistan bilateral relations, the importance the UK attaches to the upcoming elections and the UK and Pakistan’s mutual interests in promoting stability in the region, ahead of the Kabul conference
