Bandits shoot down shopkeeper in Karachi’s Bolton Market

KARACHI - Robbers on Thursday shot dead a shopkeeper over his resistance during a robbery bid in Karachi’s Bolton Market area.
A policeman was also injured in firing by the robbers.
Police said two armed robbers entered Memon Mosque bazaar in Bolton Market area to loot a shop and opened fired on a shopkeeper over his resistance, killing forty-year-old Shams on the spot.
They said shopkeepers informed a police patrolling party about the robbery attempt, which arrived at the scene and an encounter took place, leaving a policeman, Aslam, injured.
The investigations into the incident have been started.
