IHCBA strikes against lawyer’s murder

ISLAMABAD - Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) on Tuesday observed complete strike in protest against the brutal murder of a lawyer, Fauzia Bashir Advocate, in Lahore. Talking to APP, President of IHCBA, Syed Nayab Hassan Gardezi said that the strike was observed on the call of Punjab Bar Council. He said that the lawyers of IHCBA demanded a prompt arrest of the culprits involved in Fauzia’s murder and said severe punishment should be given to them as soon as possible.
The lawyers did not appear before the court on Tuesday except for in urgent cases, the president added.
