Sindh, Peshawar HCs moved against NA speaker’s ruling on PM

KARACHI - The decision of Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza for not sending reference against convicted Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani to the Election Commission was challenged in the Sindh and Peshawar High Courts on Monday. A petition was submitted by Human Rights South Asia in Peshawar High Court seeking suspension of the speaker’s ruling because it was violation of article 63 of the constitution.
