Can’t be bullied into resigning: Gilani

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Tuesday said that fair trial is his right and he would exercise all constitutional options. Talking to journalists on board his flight to Britain‚ the prime minister said he cannot be brow-beaten to resign. He said a government that has two-third majority cannot be sent packing unconstitutionally. He said the people were politically aware and there was no room for any undemocratic action. He said that if the PML-N is serious in removing him from office, they should tender resignation from assemblies and then launch a movement against him. Replying to a question, he said the PML-N doesn’t want appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner for some particular reason.
