Musa Gilani appears before ANF in drug case

ISLAMABAD - Ali Musa Gilani, son of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Thursday said he had no connection with the ephedrine quota allotment case. Musa along with his counsel, Fawad Chaudhry, appeared before the investigation officer of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) with regards to the ephedrine quota case. Speaking to media representatives prior to appearing before the investigation officer, Musa denied involvement in the respective case. He said investigation should be carried out over the misuse of his phone in chemical quota scandal.
He reiterated he has no link with this allotment scam. “I have no connection to this case… I am not an accused… I will repeat the same statement before the investigation officer also,” Musa said. He said he had to appear before the investigating officer on April 30, but in compliance with the Supreme Court’s orders, he was appearing before the officer on April 26.
