Child labour
Children are the most beautiful, innocent and sensitive creation of the world. They are just like little angels. They are the future of the nation. They must be provided with quality education and grown up with great care. But unfortunately social problem such as unemployment, ignorance and illiteracy of parents force these sweet little kids to work. Child labour is one of the major issues in Pakistan these days. It destroys the future of the child as well as of the country. Many children in Pakistan are working.
Education is the basic right of every child which must be given. At very early age they are subjected to harsh circumstances. They are greatly influenced by the environment in which they grow. Such kids should learn and play instead of doing jobs. Often they are physically forced to work, but mostly they work due to poverty. They financially support the family. They have no access to education. All these factors lead to exploitation of children, but the government alone might not be able to tackle the problem of child labour. High level of commitment is required from employers and parents to end this problem. Awareness should be raised among people to overpower the problem.

In 1998 when BBA did worldwide movement which is known as Global March Against Child Labour we had some children participants from Pakistan these children were the representative of all the Child Labourers who are still working in Pakistan so while walking, chanting hand in hand with the children of other countries we all went into the ILO to raise the pain of the former child labourers. So now time has come to put complete band on Child Labour so on 20th April, 2012 child Labour Free Nation Campaign is going to be held where children are going to demand to put the complete band on Child Labour. I appreciate the work done by Global March Against Child Labour and Bachpan Bachao Andolan for child rights. World needs organizations like you if we wnat to curb this cancer of child labour.
