ISLAMABAD - The city police on Thursday arrested 11 people from various areas of the city, including some who used to steal diesel from official vehicles. The police recovered 1.320 kilograms of hashish, fake prize bonds, 14 liquor bottles and stolen diesel from their possession. According to details, Tarnol Police Sub-Inspector Muhammad Idrees arrested a drug pusher, identified as Abdul Wahab in possession of 1.120 kilograms hashish. Margallah Police Sub-Inspector Abdul Sattar nabbed Sheeraz Ahmed in possession of fake prize bonds worth Rs 25,000. ASI Muhammad Raees arrested Shehzad Masih for possessing 13 liquor bottles. He also apprehended a mobile snatcher, Shakeel. Nilore Police nabbed Qaisar Mehmud and Aruganzeb for their involvment in thefts, besides recovering stolen diesel worth Rs 50,000 from them. The accused used to sell diesel they stolen from officials vehicles. The Shalimar Police arrested Haleem and Saleem and recovered stolen items worth thousands of rupees from them. Ramna Police Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aslam nabbed Safeer for possession of a liquor bottle while ASI Arshad Mehmud from Sabzi Mandi police arrested Ali Raza in possession of 40 cartridges of a 12-bore gun. The Bhara Kahu police arrested Waqas Ahmed for possessing 300 grams of hashish.
