ISLAMABAD - Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Saturday said the federal government was committed to improving security and resolve the problems of Balochistan.
He said this during a meeting with Balochistan Assembly Deputy Speaker Matiullah Agha, who called on him here Saturday.
Malik said the federal government was fully assisting the Balochistan government to tackle security-related issues.
He said the government was also taking steps for resolution of problems of the Baloch people, adding that the introduction of Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan package was an ample proof in this regard.
Matiullah Agha informed the interior minister about the NADRA and passport related problems in Balochistan. Malik issued on the spot orders regarding problems of NADRA and passport related issues.
