Ruling millions of hearts with her modeling and acting skills, Pakistan’s well recognised fashion model-turned-drama artist Sadia Imam will tie the knot very soon. After Reema Khan and fashion model Aisha Linnea, Sadia is also to get married. Sadia Imam’s to-be-husband belongs to a well known family in Karachi and Sadia’s family is also happy with her decision. Sadia started doing radio shows from Islamabad and later appeared on TV. She was earlier married in 2005 to Pakistani-Australian Aslam Khan.

She's very beautiful and she is young…why shouldn't she get married? Do 40-year old divorced Pakistani men not get married? Imran Khan is 60 and old enough to be her father but people always fuss over his good looks (quite rightly!) and if he got married tomorrow, would anyone bat an eyelid? No, and why should they? But what good enough for the goose is good enough for the gander i.e. it's the same for women so please stop being so narro-minded. The Prophet SAW was twenty-five and his wife Khadija (r.a) was forty when they got married. They went on to have four children and she was the first person to accept his Message and was his rock through thick and thin. It's really sad and predictable that in our mulk, people start lying about their children's dates of birth as soon as they are born, and because most people don't have birth-certificates (or fake ones LOL!) so they spend their whole lives lying about their own ages and those of their kin. They them go on to pass-on this same, pathetic 'disease' to their children, and so they spend their entire lives obsessing about other people's ages while lying about their own! And they always mistake age with beauty. There are plenty of ugly teenagers and twenty-somethings everywhere, including in Pakistan, and there are plenty of people in every society who are older than that (including in their 60s and 70s who are very good looking). Youth and beauty are not the same thing.
So in short, get over it. Good for her whomever she married and sincere congratulations to her and anyone else who got married of their own free will and in a halal manner.
