25 suspects arrested, bomb defused in Lower Dir

DIR - Police on Friday claimed to have foiled a major bid of terror by defusing explosive device and arrested at least 25 suspected people during search operation here.
According to police sources, police received information that some unidentified miscreants had planted explosive device in Seerhi market in Munda bazaar of tehsil Jandola in Lower Dir. Police and bomb disposal squad (BDQ) reached the spot and defused eight kilograms bomb.
Curfew was imposed in the entire area for launching search operation. Police sources said that police arrested at least 25 suspected people during the search operation.
The security on entry and exit roads was increased to hunt the culprits.
