PM innocent in contempt case: Aitzaz

Aitza Ahsan 1

ISLAMABAD - Senator Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan said on Wednesday that he would prove before the Supreme Court that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is not guilty in contempt of court case.
Talking to journalists outside Supreme Court, Aitzaz said he felt that the court did not permit him to ask some important question during the proceeding of the case. He said further that the matter was subjudice and he did not want to pass any comments.
He said that objection could not be raised, if the court would pass a judgment in accordance with law and constitution.
Replying a question, he said Nargis Sethi was not the witness of the case against the prime minister, as it became a tradition that any high official would tell the court about PM's character.

  13. sm says:

Why are you guys passing remarks on Aitzaz? You have assumed a judgement in you mind. Anything against your judgement is wrong. Please wait till the courts decide. Lawyers, of any profile, work for their clients and it is no funny thing. There are always two sides of coin.

  14. Hamid Khan says:

    Has Aitzaz been druged?

  15. Hamid Khan says:

Aitzaz must be on drugs. The brain is screwed up now

  16. Ovais Omer says:

Aitzaz is getting PAID for it, why not he say this ?

  17. KAMRAN says:

I think aitzaz is a very cunning man. He has no morals or principles. He has shown that he would do anything for a seat in Senate.
I also think that he is playing his cards very wisely. He will use this case to get rid of gillani and at the same time destroy babar awan (his opponent). This would clear the way for him to get closed to zardari and con his way into a more lucritive position in the govt. He’s no dummy. When you sell out to this extent, you would put no lomits to what else you would do. What a disgrace to lawyers. Shame on you aitzaz.

  18. Hamid Khan says:

Aitzaz Are you out of your mind. What has happened to you? you are all screwed up now.
