LAHORE - Lahore Board won the All Pakistan Inter-board Football Championship beating Multan board in the final here at the Punjab Stadium.
Lahore Board produced two goals to claim the title drew to be contested by 23 boards’ teams of the country. UNESCO official Dr Kaoz Niigata was the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners. Dr Allahbaksh Malik, Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports and chairman Lahore Board, Dr Abdul Razzak, Secretary Lahore Board and Anwar Farooq, controller Lahore Board were also present on the occasion. UNESCO officials Fakharuddin and Ms Faiza were also among the guests.
Bannu Board beat Peshawar Board to secure the third place in the championship.
