When will it start and when it is expected to complete?
Shehbaz is the provincial chief minister who works the most and gets criticized the most amongst his counterparts – funny and ironical.
it should be done long time ago
Hold on for a second. In all this hype over Google coming into the provincial headquarters, I for one would like to ask the Honourable CM how come most of the departments and agencies under his control have been paying millions of rupees to companies like Quickbird and others to provide satelite imagery of urban areas? I believe Google is coming in for something that has already been done. Just go around the offices of the Excise Department, Walled City Authority, Urban Unit, the Planning and Development Department or the Land Records Management Information system and the reams and reams of very expensive imagery will be seen. Expensive but useless–just like the Punjab Government. Can anyone stop this madness or can we expect Google to come around and provide images and then two years later some conniving bureaucrat will be making payment vouchers for billions worth of redundant imagery from Quickbird et al. Wont the real imagery please stand up!
