Swat - A jeep rally was held in Malam Jabba, some 9000 feet above from sea level. 21 jeep drivers participated from which 15 were from Islamabad and the rest were locals. The twisting track at Shahi Goot was selected for the race, which made it a difficult task. However, the contenders showed their skills, providing recreation and enjoyment to viewers. The jeeps drove on with chains around their tyres to protect the vehicles from sliding of the mountain sides. Both locals and tourists witnessed the event with great interest. On one hand they enjoyed the snowfall, on the other the rally entertained them. Viewers said the jeep rally will help promote tourism in Swat.
