Hindu trader killed in Quetta for not paying ransom

QUETTA - A Hindu trader of Quetta was killed by his captors on Tuesday for not receiving a ransom of Rs 20 million. Ravi Kumar had been abducted by armed men in broad daylight around three months ago from Satellite Town. Later his captors demanded Rs 20 million from the family and had then reduced the demand to Rs 10 million. However, when the family could not meet the demand, the captors killed Ravi and threw his body an area close to Western Bypass. The body was found last night and was handed over to the family after identification.
