20 militants killed in Upper Orakzai
PESHAWAR - Twenty militants were killed and five militant hideouts were destroyed during artillery shelling by security forces in the upper part of Orakzai Agency on Saturday, a private TV channel reported.
The TV channel, quoting the sources, reported further that security forces targeted militants’ hideouts in different areas and killed 20 militants. During the clashes, two security personnel also sustained injuries who were shifted to the Kalaya Hospital.
Security forces are conducting a search operation in Tehsil Jamrood of Khyber Agency while curfew has been imposed in some areas of North Waziristan, political administration informed.
