Dangerous Building

KARACHI - The provincial Auqaf Department has declared three buildings of the city dangerous for residential and commercial purposes.
Sindh Auqaf Minister Dr Rafiq Banbhan told the Sindh Assembly on Friday that these buildings include Khadija Bai Building in Khori Garden, Raja Ghulam Nabi Trust Building on Frere Road and a building adjacent to Jamia Masjid, Mir Karam Ali Khan on Talpur Road in Saddar.
In written replies in response to members’ questions, Tourism Minster Muhammad Ali Malkani said that the department has identified 750 acres of land for the Keenjhar Lake Resort project. “The land has still not allotted and the Board of Revenue is working on this.” He said that no private party has been selected for partnership in the project yet.
