Malik denies arrests of Dr Imran Farooq’s killers

1 -rehman malik

ISLAMABAD - Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Sunday once again denied that any arrests had been made in connection with the assassination of Dr Imran Farooq, co-founder of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
Talking to reporters, Malik contradicted a reported statement by the London police commissioner, who had confirmed that two men had been arrested in Karachi after arriving from Colombo, Sri Lanka.
When asked about a letter sent by the British government, he said the letter sent to the Interior Ministry contained nothing on the issue. He added people should avoid blaming Pakistani secret agencies without justification.
