Six held over kidnapping for ransom

ISLAMABAD - Police claimed on Monday to have arrested six persons for their alleged involvement in kidnapping for ransom cases.
A police spokesman said Shehzad Town Police Station SHO Inspector Muhammad Younus Gujjar and his team arrested the accused. According to police, during primarily interrogation, they confessed committing the crimes while they are being grilled for further revelations.
The alleged kidnappers were identified as Ramzan, Asghar Ali, Subah Sadiq, Abid Ali, Khizar Hyat and Raja Shaheen and investigations were being carried out from them.
Meanwhile, police in separate raids captured eleven other outlaws and recovered liquor, pistols and looted items from their possession.
