Curfew imposed in Landi Kotal

Peshawar - The political administration of Tehsil Landi Kotal in Khyber Agency announced imposition of curfew on Wednesday. Assistant Political Agent (APA) Iqbal Khattak said that the curfew was imposed to improve the security situation in the area, adding that the Landi Kotal Bazaar would remain closed after dusk and traffic will be banned.
Security has been beefed up in Landi Kotal after two consecutive bomb blasts in the area. Patrolling on the Pak-Afghan road has been increased by the security forces to foil any terrorist activity.
