Rehman Malik awarded honorary PhD
KARACHI - Interior Minister Rehman Malik was on Tuesday awarded an honorary doctorate degree by the University of Karachi. Speaking at the special ceremony, Chancellor of the University Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan said the degree had been awarded the degree in recognition of his “matchless services to the country in the war on terror and particularly in restoring peace to citizens of Karachi”.
Talking to reporters at Karachi airport earlier, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said any party found involved in anti-state activities would be banned.
He said the ban on People’s Peace Committee was imposed on a request by the Sindh government. He said stern action would be taken against violators of the law. Malik said action against miscreants would continue in Karachi to bring down the crime rate and eliminate illegal activities from the city.
Chairing a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah at the CM’s House later, the interior minister expressed satisfaction over the restoration of peace in Karachi.
He also appreciated the efforts made by Sindh Police and Rangers to apprehend the criminals, target killers and extortionists. Malik said law enforcement agencies would have to take effective and prompt action against miscreants without any political pressure and discrimination.
The meeting decided that another high-level meeting would be held next week in Karachi to review progress and results of the action taken by law enforcement agencies against anti-social elements.

Rahman Malik is looking more like a Wrestler than a Doctorate. His award also resembles a wrestler award on winning a Dangal.

Can't anybody see what's happening? With the Ph.D degree conferred upon him now, he will no more be ineligible under the graduate degree requirements as per the SC Law. I bet he must have done a lot of cajoling to get the Ph. D; or maybe caught the Chancellor at KU at his weak moment.

Is it just me or does Rehman Malik bears strong resemblance in this picture with the puppy with a wicked laugh from Wacky Races cartoon that was broadcasted on Sundays on 11.am on STN back when we were not exposed to the Saas Bahu dramas?

He was not even a assistant director , he was office superindent , but got fast promotions because of his clever nature and cover ups to corruption of top politicians , he is a criminal and our interior minister , shame on us .
