SC allows former senator Mir Rind to contest by-polls

ISLAMABAD - Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday permitted former Senator Mir Ali Muhammed Rind to contest by-elections.
A two-member bench, headed by Justice Shakirullah Jan, annulled Balochistan High Court (BHC) verdict holding Rind ineligible to partake in elections as he was punished by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Senator Rind belongs to Balochistan National Party (BNP).
