ISLAMABAD - Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman on Monday rejected the bail plea of a man facing charges of keeping a suicide vest. Through his lawyer, the accused Mera Khan moved a bail application before the IHC chief justice, pleading that police had implicated him in a fake case.
However, Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri apprised the court that accused was arrested on June 29 from a market in the federal capital in possession of a suicide vest and other deadly weapons. Margalla Police arrested the accused on June 29 and recovered a suicide vest and weapons from his possession.
