LAHORE - The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and Diverse Learning Concepts (DLC) Worldwide Saturday inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide the country with cutting edge human resource. LCCI Senior Vice President Sheikh Mohammad Arshad signed the MoU on behalf of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry while DLC Worlwide was represented by its Chief Executive Officer Alan Linden.
DLC Worldwide Director Saqib Hanif, Netsol Technologies Senior Vice President Ayub Ghauri, LCCI Executive Committee Members Mian Zahid Javaid, Kh Khawar Rashid, Mohammad Yousaf Shah and PIAF former Chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh also spoke on the occasion. As per MoU, the LCCI and the DLC Worldwide will collaborate in ensuring quality technical training in the field of supply chain, banking, logistics, operational management, sales and marketing management, logistic consultancy and human resource development to public, private and development sectors for the benefit of business community.
Both LCCI and DLC worldwide will also cooperate and collaborate to enhance the capability of their respective organisations. Speaking on the occasion, the DLC Worldwide Chief Executive Officer Alan Linden said that the training programmes have been carefully designed by subject experts as well as practitioners from respective disciplines within the corporate, private and public sectors. He said that the DLC Worldwide (Pakistan) will use its expertise to address the growing need for professional education in the region.
He said that in the first phase, the programmes will be conducted in Lahore while in the second phase, programmes will be arranged in all parts of the country He said Pakistan has seen keen growth in its education sector but still lacks in professional career development courses. DLC Worldwide (Pakistan) caters to the needs of real time analysis of human resource development. The training programmes written by DLC Worldwide (Pakistan) provide fundamental customised skills for all industry sectors.
The longer term benefits will improve the employability of the local and wider population, thus ensuring that the development is sustainable through indigenous means thereby reducing dependence upon external resources. He said that the DLC Worldwide’s (Pakistan) philosophy is to equip all students with the necessary skills required to compete and succeed in a modern day commercial environment.
He said that the mission of DLC Worldwide (Pakistan) is not just being a human resource placement but a complete package in the field of human resource development. Speaking on the occasion, LCCI Senior Vice President Sheikh Mohammad Arshad said that the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry would provide maximum facilitation to DLC worldwide in achieving all its objectives for larger interests of the country.
He said that the Memorandum of Understanding would go a long way in paving way for solutions to the issues being faced by trade and industry with regards to availability of quality human resource.
