CM orders recovery of kidnapped man

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday ordered recovery of Arshad Ali, who was abducted from Chak Number 2-D, Okara six month ago, within seven days.During a meeting with the affected family, he directed the Okara district police officer (DPO) to trace the kidnapers and recover Arshad.
The CM said that protection of life and property of people and provision of justice to the masses was responsibility of police and no effort should be spared in this regard. He said that no society could progress without justice and police stations should be made a source of provision of justice to citizens. Shahbaz said that cruelty would not be tolerated and police should be a symbol of terror for criminals.
Earlier, the wife of Arshad informed the CM that her husband was abducted six month ago and had not been recovered yet. Shahbaz also gave financial assistance to the affected family.
