Ailing comedian Mastana seeks support for reatment

ISLAMABAD - The family of ailing stage drama actor and comedian, Mastana on Saturday sought financial assistance and support to get his expensive medical treatment.
Murtaza Hassan alias Mastana has proved his acting skill in every field of acting, but now he is ill and needs help of his admirers.
Appealing for the help at a news channel, Mastana's son, Sajid Hassan said his father has been getting medical treatment in Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur but our family cannot afford Rs. 5,000 every day for the treatment.
He said his father had spent around 45 years of his life in acting but today he is looking for some help from his friends and admirers.
"Being a comedian, my father has always given smiles to people throughout his career but now he is waiting for a favour which can bring some relief and joys to his life," he said.
Sister of Mastana, Shaheen lamented that no body has come to help her brother and even people are now hesitating to visit the hospital.
Comedian Mastana, one of the best Punjabi stage actor has performed in hundreds of stage dramas and TV plays.
He is very popular stage comedian and has a large fan base in Pakistan and throughout the world.
