A number of people among us are unaware of the basic procedure of lodging an FIR in Police Stations, or are too afraid to ask the authorities.

For general information, the FIR means First Information Report. A victim, witness or any other person knowing about a cognisable offence can file an FIR. This will initiate the investigation. Police will make inquiries about the matter and will gather facts to see if there is a case that can be made out. This is apparently a simple procedure, but sometimes involves hectic and time consuming investigations and even dangers to life of the investigators. However, it is the duty of Police to help the citizens with their problems, because it is a public service organisation.

I fully agree. The CDA failed to develop E-12 and D-12 for the last 25 long years. With which face CDA is announcing new sectors just to deprive citizens hard earned life long savings. The PM should ask the CDA authorities first to develop E-12 and D-12 sectors first to build people's confidence and trust.

The CDA should first develop E-12 and D-12 launched in 1988 (25 years ago)in stead of eating citizens hard earned money by announcing new sectors. The PM should get hold of CDA authorities for the corruption, mismanagement and inefficiency.
