Reckless, are you saying that this ppp govt. is spineless and cannot stand upto the military? Are they so weak that an army general can just walk in and dictate to them? Are you also saying that this democratic govt. which supposedly represents the people, is not capable of representing the people because they fear they army? If what you are saying is true then whats the use of democracy? We may as well get rid of the middleman (politicians) and save ourselves a boat load of money that we spend on their perks and corruption. Don't you agree?

Reckless, president is the supreme commander of armed forces and as such he has the final authority ob all military matters. Laws governing army's involvement in civilian matters are made and passed by politicians. Corruption hinders national progress. This democratic govt. is more corrupt than any govt. ever in Pakistan. So called "public reps" do not represent the public. Their loyalties are with the party leader.

Everybody knows whose page is this? It is rather civilian leadership who is on military's page. Uncle Sam's military commanders come, negotiate with top brass, they decide; and with stick in hands order the civilian leadership to do whatever has been decided with their US counterparts.
